It is a great honor for me to welcome, on behalf of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the participants and organizers of the XXV Moscow International Salon of Inventions and Innovative Technologies Archimedes-2022, which traditionally takes place in the Russian Federation with the aim of promoting inventions and innovations.

Increasing the level of knowledge about intellectual property, the skillful use of the results of intellectual activity, and the expansion of the number of specialists in this field are necessary components to ensure that the intellectual property system effectively serves the needs of economic development.

In recent years, the Russian Federation has undertaken a number of very important initiatives in the field of intellectual property. These initiatives are aimed at maintaining an environment that feeds innovation and continuous progress in scientific and technical activities. WIPO remains committed to the full support of the Russian Federation in these important endeavors.

The Salon is rightfully one of the key platforms in the Russian Federation for discussing topical issues in the field of intellectual property and every year it becomes more representative, its program becomes richer, and its influence only increases.
