The Direction of VOIR took part in the II International Forum "Intellectual Property and Econom

The II International Forum "Intellectual Property and Economy of the Russian Regions" was held in Kazan on February 8-9

The forum is held for studying of the questions connected with commercialization, management, protection and protection of results of scientific and technical activity of the enterprises and organizations of the Republic of Tatarstan and other regions of the Russian Federation, generalization about the issues of the strategic changes in the economy of the Russian regions, generalization about the experience in the field of creating and managing the results of intellectual activity (RIA) and working out the measures to improve the legal structure in the innovative activities of the Regions, enterprises and organizations with a help of RIA.

The chairman of the Central Council of VOIR, Anton Ishchenko had a welcoming speech at the meeting where he had said that the innovative efficiency was directly related to the activity of the inventors.

The Forum was supplemented by the anniversary Congress of the Technology and Innovation Support Centers (TISC) "Tools and methods of decision-making in the field of legal protection and use of results of intellectual activity". The representatives of more than 140 regional centers discussed the effective use of intellectual property in the innovation activities of the regions, enterprises and organizations. The Chairman of VOIR Moscow City Council, Dmitry Zezyulin (The President of the Archimedes Moscow International Salon of Inventions and Innovation Technologies) reported on "The role of the exhibition and convention events in the field of commercialization results of the intellectual activity".

Moreover "The intellectual potential of the Republic of Tatarstan" exhibition and the semifinal event of the Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises in scientific and technical sphere (the FASIE) on the nomination U.M.N.I.K. were held at the Forum.

VOIR was represented by the spokesmen of such regions as: Moscow, Vologda region, Saratov region, Ryazan region, the Republic of Chuvashia and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area.
